7 top-level teams join Arousa Football 7 final roster.
Borussia Dortmund, one of the most important clubs in Germany makes its debut. Real Madrid, Valencia CF and RCD Espanyol will repeat their AF7 presences in a major role. Atletico Madrid and Benfica (Portugal) will try to repeat their recently good performances in Vilagarcia. The Real Valladolid comes again to Vilagarcia after its last participation in 2000. |

2nd Qualifying Stage is close to begin. Next April 5 and 6 we will know which two teams among 40 participants will join top-level teams. EFL Calvo Sanz and SD Villestro already got its place in the final roster after winning 1st Qualifying Stage.
We all know that Qualifying Stage is an opportunity for any team to get its place among the big ones. It´s time to reveal those top-level teams that we had invited to join the 2008 Arousa Football 7 final roster.

A Qualifying Stage classic and a new team from Santiago achieve the classification in this first Qualifying Stage. EFL Calvo Sanz goes for its 3rd classification on a Qalifying Stage that they master like almost no one. SD Villestro, a young team full of "vitality" will make its debut on the Final Stage, after winning the pass having troubles only against UD Santa Mariña. If you want to know more keep reading.

Follow the KO tournament in the forum.
The Qualifying Stage has just started in the morning of Thursday 20th, with a very cold and windy weather. It's too soon to bet for the 2 teams (among 35) that will qualify for the Final Stage on June, but one thing is sure. Everyone is having a good time.
Moañesa, Fundación RC Celta, Villestro or Calvo Sanz are meeting the expectations and dominating their groups. There are also nice surprises like the unbeaten Puebla and the aggressive Catoira... but the journey is long, and while we write this new on the Center Table of the field, the day is not over yet. Lets see...
Tomorrow night we will know the two qualified teams. Meanwhile, you can follow the score and the rankings in the Matches section.

This is the schedule for the Arousa Fútbol 7 Qualifying Stage. We have 75 teams this year. We are proud of their participation. This year we split the Qualifying Stage into two. About half the teams compete on March 20 & 21 for two places in the Final Stage. The other half of the teams play on April 5 & 6, for another two places. Trust us, this is a show.
